Multiple resources for First Responders for Suicide Prevention.
The staff of Frontline Services consists of Active and retired First Responders with backgrounds in peer support, peer counseling, employee assistance and crisis interventions to create an environment of therapeutic comfort and ease through sharing in their own experiences.
Our mission is to make available our resource on an international level so that officers from all law enforcement branches (city, state, federal) have a resource and outlet that they can turn to in times of need. We firmly believe that maintaining ones anonymity and confidentiality are essential in providing an environment for officers to reach out for help.
Survivors of Blue Suicide Foundation, Inc. (SBS) addresses the emotional and psychological needs, that arise from the loss of a loved one by suicide in the law enforcement profession. The family and co-workers of any active law enforcement officer or officer retired for one (1) year or less who has died by suicide in the United States and its territories may use the services of SBS.
IN HARM’S WAY is a federally funded program that offers training seminars and workshops nationally on suicide prevention. This webpage offers a plethora of resources, reproducible materials, articles with varying viewpoints, statistics and opinions from which readers can form their own conclusions on the magnitude of the law enforcement suicide problem, its causes, and the best approaches to finding a solution.
