Families of Suicide Loss Support Group

February 21, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

If you’ve been affected by suicide and desire to connect with others who have been through the loss of a loved one who died by suicide, we are here for you. Peer-facilitated support groups are a wonderful place to start your recovery journey as you hear others’ stories and begin to open the door to your own healing and recovery. You’re not alone.

Meetings will take place on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month.
Where? Mental Health America, 245 Butler Ave, Suite 204, Lancaster PA 17601

What to Expect
● Peer Facilitated
● Free
● Drop-in
● Confidential
● At Your Own Pace

MHALC’s programs are peer-facilitated, which means the group leader has been in your shoes and can share from lived experience as well as provide insights and advice based on firsthand experience. All groups are free and held on a drop-in basis. You don’t have to sign up in advance. If the group doesn’t feel like the right fit, you don’t have to come back; however, we do recommend that you give the group a few chances, as the group dynamic may change and your comfort with the group grows. All meeting groups are confidential to build an environment where individuals can be honest and open. You do not have to share your story at your first meeting. You can choose to just come and listen to others share or you can share your story. We encourage you to do what feels best for you as you connect. For more information on other groups, please visit https://mhalancaster.org/support-groups/ call 717-397-7261, or email Kay Bela at kbela@mhalancaster.org
